Earl Wild was released from the OSU Medical Center on October 3, 2004 and is recovering in his home in Columbus. He receives daily visits from home health care nurses and physical therapists who are working hard to speed his recovery. His Doctors are very pleased with all his progress to date. Although recovery from open heart surgery will be slow, Mr. Wild is recouperating very well and getting stronger each day. He’s eager to return to work on his current compositions, in assisting Ivory Classics producer and label owner Michael Rolland Davis with some special upcoming CD releases and in preparing his recital program for his Ninetieth Birthday recital at Carnegie Hall, which remains scheduled for November 29, 2005. Notes and letters of encouragement may be sent in care of Ivory Classics.
